Reverse logistics, or return logistics, are becoming increasingly important. Return logistics are usually understood to mean the collection and return of broken, used or written off products, also including the collection and removal of packaging. However, new items are also often being sent back.
About three-quarters of the company’s experience return flows. Yet few companies pay attention to their return logistics. Proper savings are often possible! Many returns arise in practice, for example because wrong products are delivered or because the products are damaged during transport. These return flows can be avoided. Due to our high performance of 99.97% on average (!) during the picking process and the careful way of packaging, unnecessary returns are limited to the minimum by SILS!
SILS uses a standardized RMA (Return Material Authorization) process.
