Willem-Jan Cramer resigns from his position as Managing Director

1 November 2022

Last week, in close consultation with the shareholders and the management team of SILS, Mr. Willem-Jan Cramer announced that he will resign from his position of Managing Director on 1 December 2022. After more than 14 years, he thinks it is time to hand over the baton and make way for new impetus within SILS, while also creating the opportunity for a new challenge for himself. The other three board members, B. Coerse, R. Damen and C.H.J. van der Luijt will take over the tasks of Willem-Jan Cramer in the coming period.

Willem-Jan Cramer has contributed in many ways to the growth, development and success of SILS in the past years. Partly under his leadership, SILS, with Cargo, Logistics & Customs as its core activities, has been emphatically put on the logistics map as a professional, flexible and customer-oriented logistics service provider. SILS provides both national and international logistics services, including in the field of transport, storage, transshipment and handling of goods and customs planning and management.

Shareholders and Management of SILS are very grateful to Willem-Jan for his efforts and contribution to SILS and wish him every success for the future.
